Most times, for excavator or loader operators it can be said that your machine is only as good as the teeth you have on it, and if you have a good set of teeth in your bucket you are more likely to get through the job smoothly. Such would require the teeth to have a combination of high hardness to counter the abrasive wear; sufficient impact toughness to resist breakage under severe shock impact; and a self-sharpening tooth profile that can maintain sharpness throughout its wear life.

As an experienced Ground Engaging Tools (or G.E.T) manufacturer, we fully understand the above requirements and have dedicated our constant effort to ensure that our G.E.T. products perform to the high industry standard and at the same time are competitive priced for the international market.

Our foundry facility is equipped with a modern No-Bake resin sand molding line that is designed to ensure consistent surface finish in mass production. A series of resin Shell Core machines is used for core making to guarantee consistent tooth-pocket dimension. We produce several types of steel alloy composition through our melt shop, using clean and consistent steel scraps from our long-term cooperated suppliers. Each heat is analyzed using our ARL Spectrometer to ensure the alloy composition is within the set chemical range.

All our G.E.T. products are heat treated in-house using our heat treatment furnace that is designed specially for rapid quenching, to ensure consistent full hardening of the castings. For quality control, hardness test is performed after each heat with Charpy impact test and metallographic examination frequently carried out to ensure the desired impact values are achieved.

For our G.E.T. products we use a steel alloy that is based on the Wearpact steel originally formulated by the American Steel Foundry many decades ago. This alloy was designed specifically for the highly abrasive and impact condition typically found in the Mining and Construction industry. Alloying elements such as Cr, Mo and Ni are added to ensure through-hardening of casting after heat treatment, which is essential for consistent wear life. Using our alloy formula and heat treatment process, our G.E.T. products have typical hardness of HRC 47~51 with impact value of 12~16ft.lb. at -40 ˚ C. Our products have been used in some of the world’s toughest condition with satisfactory results.
