For long lasting durability we utilize the premium high strength, quench and tempered wear resistant steel plates (Hardox 400/450 or XAR400) with nominal hardness of 400 brinell throughout the bucket body. This includes critical areas such as the base edge, side walls, bucket shell, side and bottom wear liners. This would ensure acceptable bucket weight while maintaining structural integrity and prevent buckling / bending during operation.

Bolt-on double beveled cutting edge are fitted to the bucket to preserver the base cutting edge and also to maintain a clean floor. For standard duty operation we can provide heat treated and fabricated boron steel cutting edge with nominal hardness of 450 brinell. For highly abrasive work conditions we recommend our Heavy Duty Cast Edge for longer wear life.
